Error message when attempting to update to latest version

I'm having OBS perform an update to get the latest version, 26.1.1 (currently on 25.0.8), but when it gets to the file titled "virtualcam-install.bat" it stops and gives me an error message that all the files were not able to download. I've tried several times to perform the update, but it always fails.

This is on Windows 10 Enterprise, 64bit, version 1909.

Any thoughts as to why it won't complete the download and update the software?

Most likely you have something interfering with the download such as a firewall / security product.

I am having the same issue. and idn't get any good solution.

You can just download the latest full install package from obsproject.com and install it over the top of the existing installation, without uninstalling. All of your settings/scenes/profiles will be preserved.

I was having this issue as well,

Troubleshooting
I checked my Windows update,
Downloaded all the latest windows updates available,
Had to reboot to complete updates
Rebooted OBS
Ran OBS update
and it installed successfully.
