Erratic hotkeys

I'm using Big Sur, and the latest version of OBS.

I quite often have a problem with some hotkeys stopping working. Ones that don't use modifiers seem to be okay, but ones with modifiers sometimes have problems (e.g. opt-1). I have to press the modifier and the other key at *exactly* the same time, or the hotkey doesn't work. If I hold down the modifier key, then press the other key, it doesn't work. This makes it very difficult to reliably trigger the hotkeys.

This doesn't always happen, but when it starts, quitting and reopening doesn't help. Setting hotkeys to always be active in the background doesn't help.

Similar issue here. I've got F13-19 and num pad keys assigned to trigger different scenes and sources. Worked relatively consistently on my 2018 MBP (although sometimes they would stop working all together, restart would fix). Now using a mac mini (M1 chip) with Big Sur 11.1 and OBS 26.1.2, hotkeys are erratic. stop working, trigger wrong scenes or sources, or will temporarily switch to scene while key is depressed, but revert to previous scene when I lift finger off key. Super frustrating.
