I have a Webcaster X2 which I use with an HDMI camera and a webcam, but now need to produce more sophisticated content. I've been told that I could use a capture device to get hdmi input into OBS, which I have on my laptop, and relieve the encoding load on my old lappie by using the X2 - so is this viable and sensible, and how would I set OBS to do this?
