Entering “stream key” crashes OBS

I’ve been spending the last 48 hours doing research trying to figure out why my OBS is crashing every time I enter the stream key then press “connect account”. My app shuts down and then I get the prompt saying the app shuts down unexpectedly.

My first time trying OBS and this is happening do I have to try another streaming software?

I have the latest update on my Mac intel and the latest version of OBS.
