Question / Help Encorder OverLoad on Local Recording With Nvenc and 25000 bitrate 1440p

Hi All,

I've been recording locally like this for about six months in 1440p and before that in 1080p for two years without any issues but now suddenly i'm getting massive lag and can't seem to find out why. The PC is using 6% CPU and is doing nothing else and this will still occur. I've also tried CQP, Lower VBR bitrates and It still overloads.

I've attached a log file showing this after a 1min run let me know if you can see something i'm missing that's now causing this.

You are significantly overloading your GPU.

Aside from that you should definitely not use CBR for recording. It's also possibly that the CQP 10 value is too low and should be set a little higher. Try a significantly higher value and then move down until the overload occurs and put it back up a notch.
