Question / Help Encoding problem, win 10?

Hello!

Few days ago I have installed windows 10. Since then I can't stream at all. My stream is veeeerrry laggy. It's laggy on heroes III game, so it's not problem of game settings :/ I tried changing encode setting to the lower one, but still sucks.

When launching OBS performance of game (Heroes III) drops a lot.

also on my laptop wich is much weaker I get like 30fps drop while OBS is on...

I also noticed that launching OBS without starting streaming slows my computer drasticly...

With a Radeon HD 7900 Series GPU and a 720p 60fps OBS setting, your GPU will take a noticable performance hit, when OBS needs to render your scene (no matter, if recording/streaming, or just opening OBS).
In Addition, the i5 2500k will have a hard time to encode 60fps while playing any game that produces higher CPU load.

I tried 30fps and x256 encoding and it was still hitting my games fps hard

what is x256 encoding exactly?

yeah my bad. After OC my CPU everything works better :)
