I just built a new computer with a GTX 1080, high mid level i7, and i'm recording to an SSD.

FPS in Game: constantly 60+ on overwatch at high. (I can do epic but i thought lowering to high would help my recording)
Problem: Every time I record with nvec my frames drop to a constant 30fps when i want to record 60fps.
Temporary Solution I'm using: I can use x264 CRF to record but only with 10 or lower. The best was actually CRF 0 (which i'm assuming is lossless) but that's a huge file size. I have fiber infrastructure so uploads aren't ridiculous but still.
Possible Problem: I think my GPU memory is bugged and will be calling asus for a replacement (for this and other various problems I've been having.)
Why I'm Posting: I just need to confirm that it's possible to record a game like overwatch at 1080p 60fps with a GTX 1080 and nvec encoding. Is it possible? I would think, with my specs, it's possible...
