Hey all!
I'm a small streamer who does the likes of Dirty Bomb, PUBG and now Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and stream two/three times a week.
Prior to Christmas, I was running a Vega 56 reference card to stream and could easily do PUBG on medium/high at 720p60 on OBS at 4750 bitrate to Twitch.
Unfortunately, my card became faulty and I had to RMA it. Thankfully, using the refund, I was able to grab an aftermarket Vega 56 (Sapphire Nitro+ Vega 56) from OverclockersUK - gaming is working wonderful now.
The issue is that I now cannot stream games like PUBG, even Dirty Bomb, without the OBS preview lagging, the FPS counter dropping from 60 to around 10-15FPS whenever the game is in-focus. Tabbing out to Desktop, and the game can play away on borderless mode in Display Capture fine at 60FPS - it's just whenever I tab back in and do things in-game that the FPS drops.
Here's the latest log from my last stream doing Kingdom Come Deliverance: https://pastebin.com/e7EH0bCT
My setup is as follows:
Ryzen 7 1700 CPU
Sapphire Nitro+ Vega 56
16GB DDR4 RAM
Windows 10 FCU (sadly) 64-bit
Dual-monitor 1920x1080p @ 144Hz each
I've attempted running OBS at high priority mode, made sure affinity is set for all CPU cores, enabled Game Mode on ESET Nod32 AV, disabled Windows 10 game mode via Registry and lowering in-game graphics. I've even went and lowered the refresh rate of both my 144Hz monitors to 60Hz to see if that was causing it. None of the above helped.
I've also run DDU and installed the latest AMD chipset and Graphics drivers, and the latest version of OBS and AMD AMF plugin.
The error messages that accompany the logfile have quite a few "No output Packet, encoder is overloaded!" and "Input Queue is full, encoder is overloaded!" errors, but I'm unsure what to do about them...
Any help would be appreciated.
