yes, ive read the thread about this issue already.

I stream on twitch, and i have been able to run at 60fps and 1080p with zero issues playing the same game.

all of a sudden, last week, when i boot up OBS (as SOON as i boot it up), my CPU temp jumps to 75-80 degrees C, this is without even pressing the stream button yet. I get an encoding overload error as soon as i move the mouse in game.

I am unable to run at the settings i havent touched since sept 2018.

i have an i7-8700K, 1080 gtx 8gb stric gpu, 32 gb ddr-3200 ram, NZXT kraken X64 rev 2 cpu cooler, EVGA- 750w 80+ gold power supply, 3 monitors. i also just reapplied thermal paste and all fans are clean and functioning.

i dont understand what happened all of a sudden for my system not to run what ive ALWAYS had set up.

Doesn't sound like an OBS issue. More like your NZXT Kraken is not set right or has failed.
Determine if NZXT CAM software was updated automatically.
Run CAM and determine if the settings are correctly set
Determine if water is being pumped through the Kraken to the CPU.

I would also recommend reseating the USB connector for the Kraken, or plugging it into another one on the motherboard if available. I ran into an issue where mine just completely lost connection sporadically.
