Encoding lag but no encoding lag?

So I recently tried overclocking my CPU (5950x) and figured out I could encode x264 slower. Stats whilst recording indicate no issue (encoding overload/rendering lag), and frame render time appears normal (0.7ms).

However, something weird happens when the CPU would otherwise stress whilst recording: CPU usage drops really low (performance remains fine) and the recorded video lags severely. Is this some other kind of encoding lag that I'm not aware of?

Using OBS 30.1.0-beta3.

EDIT: Nevermind, the log file seems to indicate encoding lag not shown in the stats window. My bad!
