I was using YouTube Music from this link to use the Amuse widget. would that be the problem?Something in your system is causing audio distortion that is crashing the audio encoder. Installing Itunes for Windows from https://support.apple.com/downloads/itunes getting the 64-bit version should improve things for you.

okay, I am setting it up now. do I set it as the "default player"?Something in your system is causing audio distortion that is crashing the audio encoder. Installing Itunes for Windows from https://support.apple.com/downloads/itunes getting the 64-bit version should improve things for you.
I think I figured out the problem. When I came to the problem that my ogg files werent opening, I learned that I had to reset the Windows Explorer via Task Manager. Now I'm able to record, so hopefully I'll be able to stream too! That part is not necessary, but if you want to use itunes as the default music player you may.
Installing itunes is being done to give OBS access to an alternative audio encoder that is less likely to crash in your configuration.
