Currently the Virtual Camera facility simply outputs whatever is shown in "Preview". It would be very useful to allow Virtual Camera to output a chosen scene instead.
Why?
Say you're doing an interview and the video feed you want to send to the interviewee shouldn't have themselves shown in it (rather disconcerting, especially with latency). So effectively you want a video "mix minus" that gives them a feed of everything but themselves in it.
I'm sure there are other uses but this one is probably a good one.
