Elgato Stream Deck: Collections and Scenes are no longer editable and don't activate

I got an Elgato stream deck recently. Had a profile setup with various scene changes and source activation buttons. Everything worked fine until today. Now none of the buttons activate anything in OBS. If I navigate to a particular button within the StreamDeck software, the Collection and Scene data are missing, and I cannot edit the information.

I tried deleting the software, and reinstalling it. I also tried making a new profile, but the same problem persists: I can't make any edits beyond the name of the button. I'm not sure at this point of how to trouble shoot this.

Ok. The problem seems to have something to do with ExpressVPN, which for some reason interferes with the StreamDeck software.

It says right there in the screenshot Elgato Remote Control plugin is missing.
Guys, double check you have StreamDeck's plugins in your obs folder.
For example I had my OBS in a portable mode in different path, plugins ended in the wrong folder.
My plugins were in "c:\Program Files (x86)\OBS Studio - FTL\obs-plugins\64bit\".
Files are called "StreamDeckPlugin.dll", "StreamDeckPlugin1.dll"
