Hi,
I've been using an Elgato HD60S with OBS to post YouTube videos for some time and have this recurring problem with the audio source. I connect the HD60S to a PA system using a 100V to Line level converter, switch the HD60S audio to Analog (properties, Video, Audio souce)) and everything is great.
My eversohelpful friends at Microsoft send many updates to the PC used for streaming, and each time it seems that they manage to default my HD60S source source back to HDMI in OBS. I don't get any notification that this has happened until my stream audio quality goes to pot.
Is there anything in the OBS profile or OBS scene configuration files that can be set to force the HD60S audio to Analog, so that even if Microsoft do their thing, my next loading of OBS rereads the setting I want.
It's taken a while to get this all working, but it works like a charm except for this one niggle... Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Joe
