Question / Help Elgato HD60 S Audio Randomly Loses Sync

I have been experiencing a random issue where my Elgato HD60 S audio will lose sync with the video.

It seems to happen completely at random. I can stream for a couple of hours one day and everything may be fine, then stream again for only an hour or less another day, but the audio and video may go out of sync on stream.

When the audio and video go out of sync, I'd say that the audio is approximately 1 second or so ahead of the video. My webcam and microphone seem to stay in sync fine.

Sometimes if I wait for several minutes, the audio will re-sync with the video automatically. However, if I want to force the audio to sync again, I can just temporarily deactivate the HD60 S by making it not visible, then making it visible again which reactivates it, as I have that option enabled. I can also do something like going into configure video for the HD60 S, temporarily making a change, such as unchecking allow 60 fps, then rechecking allow 60 fps, and that will re-sync the audio with the video.

I have Elgato Game Capture HD version 3.50.113 (2113) 64-bit installed. The driver version installed for my HD60 S is version 1.1.0.167. I am using OBS Studio 17.0.2 64-bit.

I have previously tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling the Game Capture HD software and driver along with OBS Studio.

While doing some searching online, I was reading some things about possibly moving the webcam to a different USB port. I'm not sure if this would help me out or not.

On the back of my computer, I have the HD60 S in a USB 3.0 port, my monitor's 2-port USB 3.0 hub plugged into another USB 3.0 port, my webcam plugged into the monitor's USB hub (even though my webcam only requires USB 2.0), my microphone plugged into a USB 2.0 port, my keyboard plugged into a USB 2.0 port, my mouse plugged into a USB 2.0 port, and the USB sound controller for my headset plugged into a USB 2.0 port. With this, all of the USB ports on the back of my computer are being utilized.

Not sure if anyone has any ideas or can see anything in my log that may stand out as a potential issue.

Thank you.
