Have had these problems for a while and can't seem to find a fix. The sound popping and stuttering does not happen with streaming/recording through the Elgato Game capture software (v. 3.70.23).

I have even tried capture through another piece of streaming software (Gameshow) and the sound problems still appear.
"Audio Output mode" is set to "capture audio only". Popping audio still happens when this is set to "waveout".

PC Spec: i7 6770, GTX 1080Ti, 16gb RAM.

Does anyone have any suggestions to try? I don't really want to be stuck using the Game capture software as it restricts the use of stream alerts and other things.

Here is my log file:

Many times i have similary problems with audio, this is audio encoder problems.

This is when audio lost sync in audio encoder buffer, now i remove device from all scenes and add again source, audio encoder buffer is reset and sound back correct (this is on all card which i have: Avermedia LGP, LGP Lite, LGP2, BlackMagic Mini Recorder 4K, BlackMagic Intensity)

In audio monitor, sound is all time good.

This problem for me exist from 2014.

I've added the video capture device fresh in a new fresh scene collection and the audio problems still occur on recordings.

Going to try a complete fresh install of OBS with new prefs.
