Question / Help Elgato HD60 not found by Studio as a video capture device

I'm trying to make the jump from using the Xbox One twitch app to streaming using OBS Studio and my Elgato HD60. I've been stumped right away, as when I try to add the Elgato as a video capture device it doesn't even show up as an option.

I could find it using the older OBS software, though!

I may be too dumb to make this work :( Any help much appreciated.

You have both 32 bit and 64 bit.
One of those two are supposed to work with the elgato.

Try looking in C:\Program Files\OBS
or look in C:\Program Files (x86)\OBS

One of those two should work for the elgato.

Edit: sorry i looked over this too quickly. I havent used studio before so I am not sure if my solution is the case for that version.

Thanks for trying :) I guess I can use the older version and not studio, just was reading good things about it. I appreciate your time and expertise!

Hopefully it works.
I was having similar issues and put a post in "OBS classic Support" and didn't get any response.
Wish you better luck than mine.
