Go to Task manager
Click on Startup tab
Right click and disable everything Elgato Sound related
Device Manager
Sound, video and game controllers
Disable Elgato Sound Capture
Control Panel
Hardware and Sound
Manage Audio Devices
In playback and recording tabs, disable everything Elgato Sound related
Example: If you have a headphone with mic on it
Set the default recording device to be the headset microphone
Set the default playback device to be the headphones
REBOOT.
Audio from your applications (games, etc.) will flow through the Desktop audio
When you create a Scene, your audio devices will show up in the Mixer section. Adjust these as necessary
These settings are per Scene, not global for every Scene.
If you click on the master mixer wheel to the right of the Mixer label, you can control the monitoring and output.
