Question / Help Elgato Game CapHD Audio Crackling. Frames Skipping/Dropping.

Hello,
I'm using an Elgato Game Capture HD from my PS4 to the computer through OBS Studio with the intent to record, not stream. And every time the preview starts, everything is fine for about a minute, then very noticeable audio crackling starts to happen, both on the PS4 homescreen and in any games. there also appears to be some frame skipping or dropping happening.

I had this issue before and I feel like I remember getting it working fine, but then a few months ago I had to reinstall windows and wipe everything and I've since forgotten what I may have done to get it working. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here's the log: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/8d0893399d80c0a66c4ac66bb02c923f
sorry if that's not the preferred method, but I wasn't sure how else to post it.

Your Blue Snowball and other audio device OBS is detecting has problems.

If you have Elgato Sound Capture running, right click and disable it from the Task Manager Start up tab and reboot the system. I don't use Elgato Sound Capture. Don't know if this is causing the problem but just wanted to point that out.

You are using an audio input capture source. I'm assuming this is for the Blue Snowball.
21:08:01.257: - source: 'Audio Input Capture' (wasapi_input_capture)

After I connected my own Snowball, it looks like this:
02:59:41.440: User added source 'Blue Snowball' (wasapi_input_capture) to scene
02:59:46.183: WASAPI: Device 'Microphone (Blue Snowball)' initialized

Clearly, way different than yours because yours isn't getting initialized.

Something seems wrong with your USB ports.

I'd suggest that you check your Snowball connection, cable, USB port and even go to your motherboard manufacturer or computer manufacturer and make sure you download and install all system drivers that include the USB drivers if there is one. If you are using a USB hub, check to see if it is operating correctly. You can do so by taking say, a USB flash drive and plugging it in and out of each USB port and watching to see if Windows File Explorer detects it.

Check also your Windows sound Recording tab to see if the Snowball is set as the Default device. Any other input mics should probably be disabled (headset with mic, etc.)

I mean, I appreciate the attempt at help, but I think you may have misinterpreted what I meant by Audio Crackling.
As far as i know, my snowball isn't the issue. if i remember correctly, it wasn't plugged in when i made that log, so that may be why it isn't initializing.
I've checked my USB Ports with a Flash Drive and they all appear to be working fine.
I've disabled Elgato Sound Capture from every process i can find.

The problem remains that there's constant Audio Cracking from the audio coming out of the elgato, and with it, comes frame stuttering. I still have no clue what the issue could be.

I'd also like to note, as the log likely states, i have no webcam, so that's out.
