So something between "Display Capture" and "Video Capture Device" doesnt like Elgato.
I turn on my Camera Hub for Elgato and then turn on the AI Background to enable green screen effect and then turn on OBS and add "Capture Device", it works well for a while and then it starts degrading. And then it goes black and adds a "Turn on Elgato Camera Hub" black screen comes on. I restart OBS and it sometimes fixes the problem sometimes it doesnt. I restart the Camera Hub and sometimes that fixes the problem, sometimes it doesnt.
I then had the brilliant idea to leave the Elgato Camera Hub to one of my tertiary monitors and fullscreen the app and use "Display Capture" to enable the camera through OBS without fail. Yes without FAIL 100% working fix for an otherwise broken app in OBS. The only problem I have at this point is, the use of one of my monitors for my camera to actually work needs to be completely used by my camera and takes away from my ability to use it for anything else.
Please look into finding a fix for this because if it works 100% on one of my other monitors through "Display Capture" it should work with "Video Capture Device" as well. As of right now this is the only fix I have found, and yes before you ask everything is up to date all drivers. Its an OBS problem.
