I have looked all over this site for months and I have not found anything that helps with my situation. I am currently having issues with OBS connecting when I have my HD60 Pro captured.
I'm no expert, but I have come to believe the Elgato software if preventing OBS from connecting. When the Elgato isn't being captured, OBS works fine. It connects and I can stream with no issues.
The moment I create a scene for the HD60 Pro and click Start Streaming, the issues begin. The live timer starts counting, but it doesn't connect to the internet. OBS remains at 0 kb/s. The dropped frames counter doesn't show either. When this happens and I click Stop Streaming, the button just hangs there and continues to say Stopping Stream. The button stays this way until either I click it again, or I leave it and OBS crashes.
Once I remove the Elgato capture, OBS returns to working as if nothing happened. I know other streamers that use the HD60 Pro and OBS Studio and cannot replicate this problem. So I'm wondering what is it about my setup that causes this to happen. Once again, this ONLY happens if I have the Elgato captured as a scene.
