Elgato Capture Device No Sound

I followed the advice of a thread posted here a few years ago and I just couldn't get any audio to play through OBS using an Elgato Capture Device. I've disabled and uninstalled the driver multiple times but there's still no audio playing through OBS. This is the USB Elgato device that allows you to capture footage from a device that uses a RCA connector, not one of the devices that allows you to capture footage from an HDMI source. I'm able to get audio from Elgato's own software, but I'd rather use OBS to record footage as well as livestream. I'm not sure if anyone here can help me or not, but it's worth a shot. Looking at the log file it simply states that the Elgato audio configuration fails, so OBS just ignores it. I'm using Windows 11.

1. The Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling ("HAGS") feature in Windows is currently known to cause performance and capture issues with OBS, games and overlay tools. It's an experimental feature and we recommend disabling it via these instructions.
2. Your audio device, which is not an Elgato, has a sample rate that doesn't match the rest. This can result in audio drift over time or sound distortion. Check your audio devices in Windows settings (both Playback and Recording) and ensure the Default Format (under Advanced) is consistent. 48000 Hz is recommended.
OBS Sample Rate: 48000 Hz
Headphones (Realtek(R) Audio): 96000 Hz
3. Windows Settings > System > Sound > Is the Elgato Capture Device listed as an input device?
