Title says it all, when I preview my Elgato Game Capture HD in OBS, as well as record with OBS, the end result is a slightly choppy picture. However, when I preview and record with the Elgato Software, everything is completely smooth. I see a lot of people saying that hardware specs are to blame, however, I've never had this problem until now. My key specs are as follows:
CPU: Intel i7 4790k@4.0GHz
RAM: 16GB DDR3
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 970
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit
There should be a log file included down below.
I am running OBS Studio on the newest version as well as have my Elgato Drivers fully up to date.
Anyone have any ideas?
EDIT:Here are some comparisons for the sake of demonstration of the issue.
