Hi! When I launch Elgato Camera hub the video from the Cam Link4k connected to my Sony a5100 is crisp, clear, buttery smooth and HD @ 1080p 60fps as displayed in the preview format indicator and USB Transfer mode Isochronous.

When I add the same Cam Link 4k Sony a5100 video source into OBS I notice my video is lower in quality and choppier.

In OBS I have the following selected:
Device: Cam Link 4k
Resolution/FPS Type: Custom
Resolution: 1920x1080
FPS: 59.94 NTSC
Video Format: YUY2
Color Space: Default
Color Range: Default
Buffering: Auto Detect

I have modified the the Resolution/FPS type to match output and use defaults but nothing improves the video in OBS. It remains a bit lower quality and the the FPS is more like 15-20 fps per second.

Can anyone provide any tips or tricks? Thank you.

Update: I went into File > Settings > Video > Common FPS Values: and changed it to 60. So now my video is much smoother but it still feels 1-5 frames less than what I see in Camera Hub.

Update 2: I seem to have resolved the issue and now what I see in OBS matches what I see in Elgato camera hub.

Step 1. File > Settings > Video > Common FPS Values: and changed it to 60
Step 2. Open Sony a5100 in OBS Sources and change Video Format to I420

Once I made both of those changes my OBS video from my Sony a5100 matched the clearness, crispness and smoothness that I saw in the Elgato Camera hub.

I hope this helps someone else out there.
