Question / Help ELGATO AND OBS STUDIO PROBLEM

So i have this problem. When i open my obs and turn my elgato on, it only records my desktop screen. And when I open any window they don t pop up in the recoding. So I created that recording specific window and matched that with the game i want to record. But when i do this it pops up a extra layer with the recording of the game ( all laggy i presume that its recording without elgato)..

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO MATCH BOTH?

Don't do that.

Best case scenario, it offers no performance gain.

More commonly it reduces system performance.
 
If you're trying to capture a game, use game capture.

And if that's not working upload an obs session log from a session where you're using that.
