Elgato 4k X

Hi,
I am trying to set up the Elgato 4K X connected to a PS5 and a MacBook Pro M1. When I am in OBS trying to select the FPS, I cannot proceed. It doesn’t allow me to customize the FPS value, and only a window with a checkmark appears.

Does anyone know how to solve this? Thank you!

I noticed a similar issue connecting El Gato 4k X to a 2013 Mac Pro -- rebooting solved it, but I also had a consistent issue where every time I rebooted the Mac, I had to toggle format to a different setting otherwise I had a blank screen. like something just wasn't connecting just right. Interested to see if anyone has a solid answer as well.

I do not have your exact setup (I have an M3 Max MBP), but I do run a 4K X and PS5 (Pro in my case but used to run a launch PS5 as well).

My Capture card is the one piece of my stream equipment connected directly to my MBP with a the USB-C cable that came with my capture card. I also have 10 Gbps mode enabled for the capture card in the Elgato Capture Device Utility.

Within OBS I keep the "Use Preset" box checked, and select 3840x2160. The Elgato Capture Card will default to 60 FPS in this case and as long as you have 60 FPS setup in your canvas, it should capture in 4K/60. This is what I use for my Gran Turismo 7 in VR videos on YouTube.

I hope this helps.
