Elgato 4K X Video Not Coming Into OBS From PS5

Hey Everyone,

Things used to work, but this is the issue I've been having for about a week.

I'm unable to get video to show up in OBS from my PS5 using Elgato 4K X on an M1 Max Macbook Pro. I have audio, but the video is just a black screen. Do any of you have any thoughts on how to troubleshoot / resolve? I've included a screenshot to show some potentially valuable info. Thank you!

-OBS: Shows my sources, that there is audio input, and that the screen is just black with my capture device selected.

-Properties for 4K X: I've tried a few different ways of adding the capture card and nothing seems to do the trick. This is just the settings that things are on right now.

-Capture Device Utility: To show the settings for my capture card. I have it set to internal because I was previously getting an audio issue where cutscene dialogue was not coming in, but things like music and SFX were. Switching to internal resolved this before my video issue that I"m describing.

1) try changing the device in obs first to another, then back to elgato 4k x
2) try switching in elgato from intertal to display and back
3) try disconnecting the usb-c cable from the mac and inserting it again
4) try turning on USB 10 Gbps in elgato utility How to turn on USB 10 Gbps on macOS

Update to macOS Sonoma 14.4 or later
Install Elgato Capture Device Utility 1.3 or later
Press and hold Option in the app
Turn on USB 10 Gbps in the next window

5) if nothing helps, try using the video capture device layer, not the capture card device

this helps me.
