is there anyway that i can add my el gato to the new obs setup on the mac?

No. As far as i know they do not supply any drivers except for their own application.

Global Setup? It's up to Elgato if they want to release drivers, there's nothing OBS can do about it.

i mean like obs for windows it has the global source.

Just select "Use existing" when adding a new source to achive the same.

You don't. Elgato does not have Mac drivers, only their own software is able to communicate with the device.

Im sorry if im bother you but im just a little confused so for windows the el gato has drivers and not for the mac?

Correct. For Windows their software has Direct Show drivers which OBS can use. For mac they only have their own software and no interface which allows other applications to access it.

You can also try just maximizing the Elgato recording screen and then just using screen capture.
