I am attempting to capture game audio in my headphones while I stream from my El Gato HD 60S via OBS Link and everything seems to work fine for the first 5 minutes or so until eventually the audio just cuts out completely. This issue persists even in NDI monitor which makes me think there is something going on with either OBS Link or the El Gato itself (or maybe my machine?)
I am using a dedicated USB-C adapter (not a USB hub) to connect and my specs I believe should be fine; however, CPU usage is a bit high, particularly in OBS Link when it is all running. I use this machine to run game development software and art programs pretty regularly as well as other dev tasks, so I am shocked that this makes it chug of all things.
Software Used:
- macOS 11.2.3 (Big Sur)
- OBS Link 1.0.2
- obs-ndi plugin 4.9.0
Here are my specs:
- 2.4 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9
- 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
- Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
