Question / Help Echo problem

Hey everyone,

So when I stream I have my audio settings set to where I can hear what I am saying by listening to my ATR2500 USB mic through my headphones. However it creates this annoying echo on my stream. The only way I can find to get rid of the echo is to turn off the listening option. My question is how do I monitor mic without creating that echo? I know there are tons of streamers that listen to their mic as they stream and they do not have the echo. Any suggestions?

Mute the browser volume by using the 'Volume Mixer' (righ click the sound icon in your taskbar > select 'Open Volume Mixer'. Be sure to unmute it when you're finished recording. I've attached an image of the 'Volume Mixer'.
