hey all! I am new to this forum and not a very tech guy so I need help with a problem with my Easycap 2.0. I recently got a new gaming PC that I'm wanting to record gameplay on. Beforehand, I had been using a laptop. On my laptop, the Easycap would work just fine, everything would show up.

On the new pc, I had to download a driver online because the easycap wasn't even appearing as an option on OBS. I finally got one downloaded and the easycap now is available for use as a game capture device. However, it's just a black screen! I am recording out of my camera (for facecam purposes). My camera is on and connected. I plugged it in my laptop and works fine on there... but on my pc there is a black screen. I went into settings on OBS and made them the exact ones on my laptop. I don't know how to solve this problem and it is frustrating because I want facecam in my videos! Please help ASAP!

Please try to dumb down your responses as I am not very tech-saavy.

UPDATE:

when I go to configure crosshair and select "video composite in" for my input, the image FINALLY appears. HOWEVER, it is in black and white. How do I get the video to be in color?

Hi,
it's simply, choice PAL or NTSC system, (not used now SECAM).
PAL for Europe, NTSC for USA, SECAM for France and East Europe (not in use from '90 years), of course is not all color system.
