Easy way to record on the fly a window with right width and height

Hello,

I tried to use the search function but couldnt find an answer to this. I want to use OBS, latest version on Windows 11, to record specific windows which also change in size, for example sometimes I want to record a Chrome window, sometimes another app window. Is there an easy way to do a select window and change the record to file video option to be exact the size of the window? So I want the output video width and length be the same always of what the selected window is I capture from. It would be nice if there was some kind of option for this, something like "always use same width and height as captured window".

Or for example when I want to cut out a sub frame from a captured window, for example capture a Chrome window, I want to select a square on the preview and just output this square into a video file in the same size as the square.

The old OBS had a better way to select a sub frame like this where you easily could select a sub frame with the mouse, where in the newer OBS it is way too complicated to do this.

Thank you for your help
