Easy Scene Switching?

I just want to set up a hot key to switch the the next scene - order. When I choose, not timed or anything like that, since I don't always know timing. How do I easily do this.... with a keybind, or can I?

BLACK >>PREROLL>>FULL SCREEN CONTENT>>POST

I'm sure this is really simple, I think I'm making it more complicated that it needs to be. I have a hot key set to switch scene for each scene but to cause thje scene to switch, I have to also press Transition, which is another button to press. And I'm usually busy and not looking at the screen when Im wanting to change scense

I cannot see OBS when I'm doing this

OK... learned something today. Exit Studio mode and the assigned hotkey immediately changes to next scene. Good to know.
Although... studio mode give me the safety of having to hit the Transition hotkey for a scene to switch. Also good to know.

If you have the screen real estate, or an extra monitor...you can also use Multiview....where you visually see live mini previews of your unused scenes...so with studio mode DISABLED you can just click on a scene to push it live. More certain than a hotkey if that makes you nervous!

I will have to look into this. I have 3x 40" in a racing sim so depending on how much space that takes up, I might be able to use that. I've created a poormans Streamdeck with a USB number pad and so far for what I'm doing, it's working pretty well. Just need to train how I want to progress through the scenes...
