I wonder if you have any guidance. I have a Firewire Port and am trying to connect a Sony HDR HC7 as the video source (then I can stop using the Logitech USB webcam). When I try and add a video capture device the Sony doesn't show up (just the existing webcam). Any ideas on what might be causing or a solution would be so helpful....so far the software is working perfectly but I would love to use the camera :)
