I'm confused because I specifically thought it worked otherwise...
If I duplicate a scene I thought it also made duplicates of the sources which the later could
be modified without affecting the scene settings of the original. This appears to not
be the case as modifying the sources of the duplicated scene is immediately seen in
the original scene - even on air if the original is on air in program at the time.
The scene operations include a "Paste (reference)" and "Past (duplicate)"
So I'm figuring the scene duplicate is assuming "Paste (reference)" in its operation.
I don't see the use in duplicating a scene which operates this way.
Shouldn't it be changed to Paste (reference) in this respect?
The work around is to create new scenes and copy each source one at a time and paste as
reference I guess. Tedious. Or was the intended workflow be to (1) duplicate, then on a
case by case basis, go back to the original and Copy/Paste (duplicate) the sources that
you intend to modify and delete the ones there from the duplicate? Again, that's kind of
tedious. Seems like it needs some refining.
