Hi everyone, thanks for the great software! This is the first screen capture software for recording that has convinced me to abandon my ffmpeg bash script. I recorded 100+ educational videos with it last academic year (I think I may have given myself a little ptsd in the process).
Now that I'm back to in-person classes I haven't been using it as much but decided to load OBS up for a personal project. When I did I got this weird error where the setting panels at the bottom were all doubled. They would be single if I undocked, but this is not a good work-around for me.
This was the ppa version on ubuntu 20.04. I tried rm -rf .config/obs-studio to no effect. I tried both the debian repo and snap version all with the same glitch.
I cleared the user config each time.
I ran in terminal (debian version) to get some log info
I'm afraid it may be some sort of bad interaction with my amd-gpu drivers from and. Besides that, what else should I try?
