Hello all,
So i'm trying to record some footage of specific games for a youtube commentary/critique i'm making.
But I can't seem to get footage at 1080p60 fps without having duplicate frames in the recording.
To the viewer they appear as stutters, which isn't good.
So at first I used Nvidia's Shadowplay, different qualities. No dice. Then switched to OBS with quicksync, also same problem. Game is easily hitting 60 fps, and the game is vsynced.
I'm recording to an SSD, and running the game off a different phsysical SSD.
When I review the footage and do framestepping, I sometimes see two identical frames being displayed. What could possibly be causing this? I'm stumped...
Setup:
4670K 4.2ghz
GTX 980
8GB Memory
Z87i Gaming AC motherboard.
Win10 pro x64
Maindrive (and recording): Crucial MX100 256G
Gamedrive : Crucial BX100 250G
