Using the scene described in my previous post using my webcam I tried recording a video. Not that it matters but it was a simple video to send to a friend.
I record just a few, 20 seconds, into the recording the video freezes up. I am using a Nexigo N60 FHD Webcam.
How do I determine if it is a software issue or I need to get yet a different camera? I do realize this camera is cheap junk. But for my very limited needs, if it will work, should be all I need. I did go into settings and changed the recording to MP4 and the lowest quality setting. I did a quick recording with a competitive product to OBS (Flashback) and it didn't freeze.
It probably won't help any but here is a link to the frozen recording. I can't attach an MP4 here but it is just a 6MB file and I put it on my server.
My system is Intel Core i5-4590 CPU 3.3GHz, 16 GB RAM.
