Question / Help Dull colours in OBS

Hi guys,

I'm in need of some help. I've been without a PC for a bit, and I've been setting my Elgato back up in OBS. However I noticed, that in OBS. The colours are dull and completely washed out.

As a comparion, the image on the left is within the Elgato software, and the one on the right is in OBS. It's like there is a weird filter over it or something. Also apologies for the size of the image.

Has anyone else experienced this, or know how to resolve it.

Here is my log file, just in case it's an issue there. https://obsproject.com/logs/qzMKXZTs-osltAxT

@Narcogen - For YUV colour space, it's set to 601 and at the time it was set to YUV colour range, it was set to partial. I now have it on full, but it hasn't made much difference. The colour format is set to NV12, but I'm not sure if that's the issue.

@Suslik V - Thank you, I'll give that a try now. I'm not sure why I'm getting so many issues with it in OBS, the screenshot was taken from the preview. It just looked so dulled, in comparison to the elgato software.

@Suslik V - I tried putting the PNG in OBS, and it's not working correctly. I'm assuming, you add the PNG, so that you can see the video behind it. It's still showing me a black background, so I can't see the image of my game capture. It just looks like that on my obs window, and just to show it is the PNG, I added a second screenshot.

Edit - Ok, I think I sort of fixed it. The issue was that in the settings, I had YUV set to 601/Partial, but in the actual Elgato Source, it was set to 601/Full. So that fixed up some of the colour. Should I have it on 601 or 709?

Here's a screenshot, as a comparison to the elgato again.

How do you use the mentioned test pictures? You should capture them with your capture card and watch the result (if you testing capture card, but if you testing obs - you put it in obs).
