Question / Help Dual pc's, capture card and different resolutions...

I'm running two different pc's. One pc is dedicated for encoding/streaming and has a elgato hd60pro capture card in it which can record at 1080p 60fps.

My other pc is for gaming. The only way for the gaming pc display to show up in obs for the capture card on the streaming pc is to duplicate the display on the gaming pc to the elgato. Doing this though causes my gaming pc to downscale it's specs to 1080p 60hz. My gaming pc and monitor can run 1440p 165 hz but because of the mirroring to capture on the streaming pc it lowers my settings and I cant find anything to change that...

Anybody know how I can make the gaming pc independently play games at 1440p 165hz while simultaneously being captured on the streaming pc at 1080p 60hz? It's driving me nuts and defeats the purpose of even having this monitor and gtx1080 if i can't use it at their full potential while streaming! I don't wanna burn $400 and get a elgato 4k capture card because that only plays up to 60hz too! Has anybody found a solution to this? I've heard rtmp mentioned before but need to do more research on it... idk if rtmp will cause the same issue
