I would like to use the Game Capture device option in OBS on my Dual PC setup cause u can choose extra settings.
It should work cause Shroud has a dual PC setup and has Quality: 10 activated. ( https://www.twitch.tv/shroud under setup) This option should only be availble if u use Game Capture? If i am not mistaken the Game capture option gives the best quality.

I run OBS 21.1.0 in administrator mode 64 bit in Windows 10 Pro. I have tried Capture any fullscreen application and the hotkey option. Anti cheat option is activated. capture third party overlays is disabled. I use the X264 slow and medium settings.

I still get the black screen. It looks like in The Game capture option my Elgato HD 60 PRO is not recognised.

My setup:
Gaming PC:
CPU: I7-6700K 4.6 GHz
GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Monitor: Acer 27 inch 240 Hz

Streaming PC:
CPU: AMD 2700X at 4.0 Ghz
GPU: GeForce GTX 1050 4GB
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Elgato HD 60 PRO

In the attachment my logfile. Any help is much appreciated!

Side Note: If you haven't upgraded to 21.1.2, please do so. You'll have to download it and install it (the auto-updater was broken for 21.1.0).

So because Shroud uses something that means it's the only way, or the best way for you to do something? You should find the way that works best for you....and given your issue(s) so far, you might want to look at the NDI option. (Also some streamers do use NDI, but not as many as the other methods because it's newer and is a plug-in instead of being bundled with OBS).

Lastly, as to the Elgato, are your gaming PC monitors running at 60Hz & 1920x1080? I ask because the Elgato only works with certain resolutions and refresh rates and if you don't match what the Elgato supports you'll get a black screen.
