Dual GPU setup?

Question: Would I see any improvement from doing a dual gpu setup for OBS?
I have a 3060 and a 3060ti, and my motherboard has 2 x16 slots and I also have an external elgato.
My theory is that if I could have the 3060 do the OBS side of things, and have the ti do everything else I would see better frame times, less encoder lag when tabbing out of a game, and overall better quality. I have great internet so streaming at 6-8k bitrate is a straight up breeze with very little impact on ping. I am just wondering if I would see a difference like I would if I instead just dual PC it. I can go that route as well.

TLDR; (both have elgato)
***SINGLE PC / DUAL GPU***
-3060 does OBS
-3060ti does everything else

OR
***DUAL PC***

Yeah, dual PC allows you to keep things *completely* separate, and not have to fudge one to make the other work, and not have support people - forum or corporate - refuse to help as long as you have "that other thing" on it too to mess it up.

The gaming PC can be set up and supported for *just* gaming, nothing else, and the streaming PC can be set up and supported for *just* streaming, nothing else.
