Question / Help Dual GPU intereferes with Game Capture

My laptop runs Intel(r) HD Graphics 530 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M Display Adapters. The only way for OBS Studio Game Capture to register anything is if I turn off the Intel adapter. But then I suffer noticeable amounts of FPS drops, major spikes, and complete halts to my game if open a different application or window while OBS Studio is running.

Is there anyway to make OBS Studio Prioritize my NVIDIA adapter over the intel one so I don't have to completely turn off the Intel?
