Hello,

I am having problems when I stream Rainbow six siege and only with this game. OBS tells me that I am in 60 FPS and that I have no drops of images but on my stream, I see that the image stutters.

I tried running OBS as admin, tried making my R6 game high priority, and saw some improvements when switching my game to 120Hz windowed without border.

I had some improvements with this last technique but it only lasts a while and the image stutters again after several tens of minutes. Can you help me please ? thank you in advance

My config :

Ryzen 7 3800x
32Go RAM
RTX 2070 Super

Thank you for your help

There's no streaming nor recording session in that log so suggestions offered are based on incomplete information.

1) In your Windows 10 settings, disable "GameDVR" and enable "Game Mode";

2) Don't mess with process priority, leave those at default;

3) In OBS settings --> Video, Change output resolution to 1536x864, I'll spare you the technical reasons for it;

4) A few of your scenes have multiple capture sources, which is highly discouraged. Either create a scene for every game you want to capture or use the same "Game Capture" source for all games. Also avoid having "Game Capture" and "Display Capture" in the same scene.

GameDVR is still enabled. Other than that, only 2 possibilities remain, though I'm not sure why NVENC isn't showing all information.

1) Under OBS --> Output, confirm that the Preset is set to "Quality" and both "Lookahead" and "Psycho Visual Tuning" are disabled;

2) Cap your ingame FPS to 120. It might be judder due to ingame FPS and capture FPS not being synchronized perfectly, which means some frames are duplicated or discarded.

Ty for your time, i don't understand why you see GameDVR is enabled because i disabled it and xbox game bar too.

Psycho Visual Tuning was enabled, i disabled it and i will try to launch a stream

Tonight, i was on stream on R6, i activated v-sync 1 frame, my fps limited to 140fps, but same bug, images stutters :(

then, to summarize my settings tonight :

OBS run on admin
GameDVR disabled
Game Mode Enabled
Prest Output on "Quality", and both "Lookahead" and "Psycho Visual Tuning" are disabled
Video output resolution : 1536x864
No game capture and display capture on the same scene ...

:(

Cap at 120FPS, not 140 as that leads to judder.

One thing that may be worth trying is creating a new scene collection with only the game capture added as a source, nothing else. Then, test to see if the issues persist.

If possible, leave a link to a recording after trying these suggestions.
