Hey guys let me just start this by saying I'm new to streaming so if I ask something stupid I'm sorry.
Here are my specs:
CPU - AMD FX 8350 4.20GHz.
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-970.
RAM - 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3.
GPU - MSI Radeon R9 270X.
PSU - Corsair CX 600W
My download is Down: 80mbs Up: 6mbs
So I've just started steaming and I've been trying to get my settings in obs right for the last 2 days but I've been dropping frames while I stream. After messing with a few things today I thought I had cracked it, everything looked crisp and fine on the preview window. After streaming for around 40 minutes with no drops or lag my friend came online to play. I jumped into our discord server and joined a game with him. At that point i was met with high ping, lag and I was just watching frames slowly but surely drop. Due to me not being able to play I left the game and discord, but continued to stream to see if it would return to normal. The frames slowed but i couldn't stop them from dropping. Anyone have any ideas as to why it went like this?
