Question / Help Dropping Frames only on OBS not Xsplit

Hey!

So I have been having this issue with OBS where when I stream I will instantly drop frames.

IE: As soon as I start the stream no matter what server rather it be Chicago, Ashburm or even Toronto which is the closest to me I drop frames within 5 mins of streaming. Below I have included a LOG as well as a screenshot of my TwitchTest.

Also to note I tried doing test streams on Xsplit and have used multiple servers and I haven't dropped a single frame within an hours worth of streaming.

Any suggestions on what the issue is? I have called my ISP and they are absolutely useless on this situation. I am from Canada and my ISP is Teksavvy

The results on Twitchtest kind prove that it's not an OBS or software problem, but purely a connection issue.

You need to hold your ISP's feet to the fire on this one. There is nothing we can do in these situations.

1. OBS doesn't try to hide the fact that your connection is bad.
2. The Twitchtest confirms this (anything with a quality of less than 80 means trouble for you streaming).
3. Xsplit will hide dropped frames from you, so using that as a metric or measurement is a bad idea.

I'm not knocking XSplit, and from what I understand they have a mode that will drop your stream kbps if it encounters poor/uneven network conditions (which I admit would be nice to have in OBS), but it doesn't change the fact that your connection is horrid.
