Hello, for the past two weeks I've been unable to stream on YouTube without dropping frames at a rate of 20%-40%. I have been able to stream just fine on YouTube using the same settings for a long time, and this only recently started happening.
I did some test streams on Twitch and I found that, with the same settings, my streams there are pretty much perfect, with no dropped frames. I made sure to do test back to back on Youtube vs Twitch, and the results are the same; I drop frames on YouTube, but not on Twitch.
So I'm wondering if it's some issue with YouTube, or with OBS? I checked around to some other live streams on YouTube, and none of them seemed to be dropping frames, but I had no way of knowing if they were using OBS. I can't find anyone else who is having this issue.
