OBS-S drops frames like that's it's day-job.

I can close ----everything----- on my system disable services I shouldn't have to touch, and essentially put it in a state where only OBSS and the intended target of recording are running, and reduce that program to it's crappiest detail and lowest resolution, scale down to 30fps and it will still record like crap.

I've also noticed that OBS uses an excessive amount of resources when it is merely sitting idle. I understand that the live feed of the capture source will use a bit, but there is no conceivable way it needs anywhere near as much as it is trying to pull because older version, and older programs/other programs have not needed that much to do more on far older systems.

I get a slight improvement when I go into the task manager and force it to a lower CPU priority but... what the heck is going on? Why is it so resource intensive?

Do disabled sources in a scene still have an impact on the overall performance?
