Question / Help Dropped frames

Hello :)

So I know that dropped frames will be inevitable sometimes but I was wondering if there was anything I could do to help reduce them? I just did about a 4 hour stream and my dropped frame rate was 1% (just over 4000 frames)

I have got a log if someone can take a look, possibly identify the cause and what I can do to stop them? I do have a more powerful PC coming the next week or 2 so if that's the solution then hey problem solved lol But I would like to prevent them/reduce them when I have that machine too :)

Looking at your log that dual core CPU is just not going to cut it, when using a USB capture card. and at that lower resolution, even using Ultra fast preset is just not enough. You could try lowering your Elgato's Input resolution to 1280x720. though you then would need to set whatever console you are using to also 720p. It could help a little.

Thanks Epic :) I suspected that the hardware I've currently got was probably at least part of the cause. I have a new machine coming in the next week or so that's a little bit more powerful; it's been described as overkill on another thread lol
