Dropped Frames While Recording Game

Hello! I'm trying to record Minecraft Windows 10 Edition, and whenever I record, there's intervals where the framerate severely drops. I record at 1080p 60fps, and this has only started happening recently. Here are my specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
GPU AMD Radeon RX 5600
16G RAM

There's no recording session in the log but turn off everything that's currently on & enable Game Mode.

Does this log file have a recording session? Sorry, I'm new to this - I've used OBS for a while and haven't had any issues so I don't know too much about the technical stuff

Also, I turned off gamebar background recording and the only thing that changed was the amount of time thr dropped frames occurred for. Another thing to note is that I'm recording at 1080p and the quality is horrible. If this has anything to do with it, I have a filter on the display capture that sets the saturation to 0.69

Change your encoding preset to faster. Your CPU isn't able to handle 1080p60 at medium or slower.

As far as the quality issue, you're only recording at 4000kbps. Change the rate control to CRF, and use a value of 23 to start, and go from there. The lower the number, the higher the quality.

Thank you, the quality is fine now. I'm still struggling with dropped frames. Do I need to change my kbps for encoding? Also should I be using the CPU x264 encoder, or should I use my gpu?
